Regional Conferences of Youth (RCOYs) are held globally in advance of the Global Conference of Youth (GCOY) to tailor climate discussions to local contexts and collect grassroots insights.
During RCOYs, participants engage in discussions and develop outputs that contribute to national and regional climate policies. These outputs also inform the GCOY and subsequently influence international climate negotiations.
